Luis Sr.
Owner
While in high school, Luis worked part-time at a jewelry manufacturing company in Puerto Rico. His first job was making earrings from molds. During his years in Puerto Rico, Luis became a full fledged jeweler. In 1975, he moved to NYC, where he became manager of the men’s ring department at Columbia Manufacturing Co. His department was responsible for setting diamonds, gemstones and producing the finished product. In 1983, he moved to Florida and worked at Diamonds Unlimited as a jeweler, and was was promoted to manager. In 1988, he purchased Kens Jewelry and expanded it to Ken’s Jewelry & Repairs. Luis has more than 45 years experience in the trade.

Luis Jr.
Manager
Like his father, Luis learned the trade early, as he was always at the jewelry store from a young age. He manages the business, and is the appraiser, jewelry repairer, and custom designer. He has a Jewelry Essentials Certificate and a Diamonds and Diamond Grading Certificate, and is an Accredited Jewelry Professional through the GIA (see "Learn more about GIA" button at left).

Fernando
Jeweler
A native of Cali, Colombia, Fernando comes from a family of jewelers. He started his apprenticeship at the age of 13. Later, he moved to NYC and worked at Tiffany’s for 3 years, then started his own business. In 2001 he moved to Florida, and was hired by Ken’s Jewelry and Repairs. Fernando has over 40 years of experience.

Gus has been with Ken’s Jewelry & Repairs since 1999. Gus is our experienced sales associate and minor watch repairer.
